Low Voltage Electrician
We are currently looking to add a Low Voltage Electrician to our team. This position will be working on electrical projects related to custom engineered machines including large hoists and other lifting equipment for industrial applications. This position works with engineers and wiring diagrams to assemble and wire the main control panel(s) for the different lines of machines that are manufactured, as well as connect all accessories and components to complete the finished product.
Duties:
- Assemble and wire control panels for machines
- Terminating and splicing wires
- Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
- Understanding of electrical components and their application
- Troubleshooting of wiring problems
- Provide ongoing feedback with engineering during machine builds
Requirements:
- High School Education or Equivalent; Electrical degree, certification, or license is a plus
- Electrical knowledge, skills and related work experience in a manufacturing shop environment is required
- Good mechanical skills and abilities
- Read and understand blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Able to solder
- Able to build and repair harnesses
- Computer skills for accessing documents and communication
- Low voltage DC wiring experience is desired
